iChat を便利にする機能を追加してくれる Chax がアップデート。Mac OS X Leopard 専用版です。
Chax をインストールすると、iChat の環境設定に「Chax」パネルが表示されます。
このバージョンでは、スクリーンセーバを起動していても、新しくテキスト／AV チャットが入ってきた時にスクリーンセーバを自動的に解除するオプションが加わりました。
また、iChat がアクティブでない時には、チャットウインドウを隠せるようにもなっています。
チャットメンバーからメッセージが届くと、Dock の iChat のアイコンが相手のアバター画像に変わって通知してくれます。チャット相手の名前も表示できます。
Growl の通知にも対応しています。
フリーウェアですが、気に入ったら寄附を検討してほしいそうです。
