　iTunes をホットキーで制御できるようにする環境設定パネル、SizzlingKeys がアップデート。

　SizzlingKeys を有効にしておくと、iTunes に切替えなくてもホットキーで必要と思われるあらゆる iTunes の制御が可能になります。

　使用したいホットキーにチェックを。ボタンをクリックすると、ホットキーをカスタマイズできます。

　プレイリストを検索して再生したり、

　検索パネルを呼び出して、ライブラリ内の曲を検索して再生する操作も、マウスを使わずにキーボードだけで行なえます。

　再生中の曲が切り替わった時に、フローティングウィンドウに曲情報も表示でき、

　「Floater」タブで透明度やテキストサイズなどをカスタマイズできます。

　フリーウェアですが、有料の Pro 版に登録すると、使用できるホットキーが増えます。

Default Folder X 4.0.7

オープン・セーブダイアログを拡張する環境設定パネル（シェアウェア $34.95 Universal）

What's New

• Fixed Spotlight keyword saving so that it works in Word 2008 Save As dialogs.
• Corrected a problem that caused Default Folder X to not include folders in its Recent Folders list when saving in Microsoft Word 2008.
• Fixed the "Open in Terminal" feature so it works reliably in Leopard.
• The exception list did not work correctly if you added an application while the "Show all file extensions" preference was turned on in the Finder. This has been fixed.
• Setting the "click-to-copy-filenames" feature to use the control key would not work reliably because Default Folder X's contextual menu got in the way. Default Folder X will no longer display its contextual menu in this situation when you control-click on a filename in a save dialog.
• Added the AJA Control Panel as an excluded application in Default Folder X's default preferences. It does not handle AppleScript correctly and therefore crashes when Default Folder X tries to communicate with it.

　旧 Mac OS 時代から愛用している、オープン・セーブダイアログ（シート）を使いやすくする環境設定パネル、Default Folder X がアップデート。

　アプリケーションごとにオープン・セーブダイアログ（シート）で開くデフォルトのフォルダを設定可能。ホットキーを設定して、よく使うフォルダも開けます。

　オープン・セーブダイアログ（シート）の横に表示されるツールバーで、デフォルトのフォルダ以外にも階層を辿って素早く移動可能。「よく使うフォルダ」や「最近使ったフォルダ」に簡単に開け、デフォルトのフォルダに設定したり、オープンダイアログで選択しているファイルの名称を変更したり、ゴミ箱に捨てることもできます。

　オープンダイアログでは、ダイアログの下に表示されるウインドウで選択したファイルをプレビューしたり、ファイル情報などを確認／編集することもできます。

　Default Folder X から保存するファイルに Spotlight コメントの入力したり、ラベルの設定もできます。

Growl 1.1.4

　アプリケーションからの通知をおしゃれに表示して、Mac を使うのをより楽しくしてくれる環境設定パネル、Growl がアップデート。前バージョンのバグ修正がメインのマイナーアップデートのようです。

　PISCES でも紹介してきた多くのソフトが Growl の通知に対応しています。

　アプリケーションを選択して、ウインドウ下部の「設定」ボタンをクリックすると、通知ごとに Growl の通知を無効にしたり、「表示スタイル」、「スティッキー設定」、「優先度」、「サウンド」をカスタマイズ可能です。

　「表示オプション」タブでは、表示スタイルの透過度や表示時間なども細かくカスタマイズでき、

　「プレビュー」ボタンをクリックして、表示スタイルを確認することもできます。

Growl core improvements

• Worked around conflict with Logitech Control Center 2.4, and implemented countermeasures in case another input-manager hack in the future has the same bug
• Show notifications on every Space (Leopard)
• Fixed bug that caused Growl to silently not show notifications if you deleted your default display
• Fixed bug where Growl would fail to clean up .growlRegDict files in the Temporary Items folder, instead leaving them to appear in the Trash when you next logged in
• Use the alert-sound device, rather than the default sound device, to play sounds

　インストール後、環境設定で表示したいメニューエクストラにチェックを。各メニューエクストラをクリックすると、詳細情報を表示します。

　Command キーを押しながらドラッグして、メニューエクストラの並べ替えも可能。

　メニューバーの外側にドロップすると非表示にできます。

　環境設定の各タブでメニューエクストラに表示する内容を設定できます。

　このバージョンでは、多くのメニューエクストラでフォントサイズとシャドーを調節できるようにもなっています。
