Dashboard ではない方のウィジェットを動かす母艦、Yahoo! Widget Engine がアップデート。前バージョンの不具合を修正したマイナーアップデートのようです。
ｖ4.0 からは、起動中の Yahoo! ウィジェットを表示するドックが追加されました。Yahoo! Widget Engine の環境設定にも、ドックのタブが設けられています。
Mac OS X の Dock のように、自動的に隠すこともできます。
マウスオーバーで表示されるプラスボタンをクリックすることで、起動中のウィジェット表示／すべてのウィジェット表示を切り替え可能。
これまでギアメニューから行っていた Yahoo! Widget Engine の各操作も、ドック上で選択できます。
ドック内の各ウィジェットの設定を開いたり、ウィジェットを終了することもできます。
虫眼鏡のボタンをクリックすると、検索ウインドウが表示され、米 Yahoo! で検索。
日本語化もされていますが、Yahoo! Japan の ID には対応していませんので、Yahoo! Japan ID を利用するウィジェットを使っている方は、Yahoo! Japan からのリリースを待ったほうがよさそうです。
