What's New

　デスクトップにファイルを散らかしがちな方にオススメの、DesktopSweeper が Universal Binary 化されてアップデート。

　デスクトップにいろいろファイルを置いても、ホットキーを押すことであっという間に隠すことができます。

　もう一度ホットキーを押すとまたファイルが現れます。ほかの人に散らかったデスクトップを見せたくないときや、スクリーンショットを撮るときなどに便利そうです。

　デフォルトのホットキーは command + return ですが、変更することも可能。

　Automatic Mode を使えば、Finder からほかのアプリケーションに切り替わった時に、自動的にデスクトップ上のアイテムを隠すこともできます。

　デスクトップ上のファイルを隠している時には、デスクトップをクリックしても Finder に切り替わらなくするオプションも加わっています。

　わざわざタイトルバーまでカーソルを移動させなくても、ウインドウのどこをつかんでもドラッグ／リサイズ可能にする Application Enhancer モジュール、WindowDragon がひさしぶりのアップデート。母艦の Application Enhancer が Universal Binary 化されたことを受けて、WindowDragon も Universal Binary 化されました。

　お好みのモディファーキーと組み合わせることで、どこをつかんでもドラッグ／リサイズ可能に。

モジュールを追加することで Mac OS X のさまざまな機能を拡張するソフト（フリーウェア Universal）

What's New

• Universal Binary, compatible with Intel-based Macs.
• Redesigned the preference pane to be simpler and more accessible.
• Now follows the precedent set by other Mac OS X services and disables itself if the shift key is held down while booting.

　モジュールを追加することでさまざまな機能を拡張できる、Application Enhancer がアップデート。Universaal Binary 化され、Intel Mac でも動作するようになりました。

　環境設定パネルのデザインも変更されました。

　Tom は、DesktopSweeper、ICeCoffEE、InputHiliter を愛用中。このほかにも開発者のサイトでいろいろなモジュールが紹介されているので、試してみるとよいかも。

　Tom は経験したことがありませんが、システムをハックするものですので、アプリケーションによっては正常に動作しなくなることもあるようです。そのような場合には、そのアプリケーションを「Master Exclude List」に追加して、適用しないようにするとよいようです。

What's New

• Improved support of Tiger (where it was no longer possible to take the Finder to the front by clicking on the Desktop when icons were hidden).
• Jaguar is no longer supported. I wouldn't be surprised if this version still worked in Jaguar too, but please don't ask me to fix it if it's not the case. Use the 1.1 instead.
• Fixed a bug where Desktop icons were no longer clickable if the "Hide new items" pref was unchecked while icons were hidden.
• Tweaked the prefs a bit to make the slider values more readable.
• Now comes with Application Enhancer 1.5 and Unsanity Installer 3.5.
