As proposed in the Address Book and the Calculator in Tiger, this contextual menu item allows you to display any string in large type on your screen.

　Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger のアドレスブックや計算機にある「大きな文字で表示」する機能を、ほかのアプリケーションでも実現してくれるコンテクストメニュープラグインです。小さな文字は読みづらい方にとても役立ちそうです（かくいう Tom も最近小さな文字が読みづらい　笑）。

　大きな文字で表示させたい文章を選択して、コンテクストメニューで"View in large type" を選択。

　スクリーンの中央に大きな文字で表示してくれる上、長文は自動的にスクロールしてくれます。

　表示が不要な場合にはクリックすると消えますし、放っておいてもしばらくすると自動的に消えてくれます。

What's New

• FolderGlance now supports in-menu previews! Files can be previewed from any sub-menu by holding down the option-key, bringing up the preview menu. Graphical previews are created for recognized graphics files, otherwise a textual preview is shown.

　前バージョンから日本語化もされた、ファイルやフォルダをさがすのにとても便利な FolderGlance がアップデート。

　このバージョンからイメージファイルのみですが、 FolderGlance で内容を確認できるようになりました。Option キーを押すと画像をプレビュー表示します。

　階層を辿るだけでなく、選択したファイルをコンテクストメニューから任意の階層に移動／コピー／エイリアス作成もできてとても便利。

　日本語ローカライズは Takeshi Fukui さん（同じ Seesaa ブログの方でした）。

What's New

• Package contents can now be accessed on-the-fly by holding down the option-key.
• File and folder names are now abbreviated if they exceed 32 characters (the limit will be made configurable in a future version, so stay tuned!)
• FolderGlance has been localized to Japanese, courtesy of Takeshi Fukui - many thanks to him!
• Norwegian localization has also been added.

　ファイルやフォルダをさがすのにとても便利な FolderGlance がアップデート。このバージョンから日本語化されて、より使いやすくなりました。

　選択したファイルをコンテクストメニューから任意の階層に移動／コピー／エイリアス作成が可能。

　パッケージの内容もコンテクストメニューから確認できます。

　ただ、Tom の環境では、選択したファイルを任意のアプリケーションで開く機能が効かなくなっちゃいましたけど、うちだけの不具合ですかね？

What's New

• Sort order can be further customized. For instance, applications can now sort before folders, or files can appear before both folders and applications.
• The target folder for a move/copy/make alias operation can now optionally be opened after starting the operation.
• Invisible files' icons now appear slightly dimmer than regular file icons.
• A memory leak has been fixed.
• Custom folders and custom "open with" folder now work with all paths, including paths containing accented letters or other "funky" (including Norwegian...) letters.
• Trailing slashes no longer appear after custom folder items, and the main hard disk is now shown using its name, rather than just a "/".
• The preference panel now has a tab with some brief tips on FolderGlance usage.

　ファイルやフォルダをさがすのにとても便利な FolderGlance がアップデート。

　コンテクストメニューに表示する項目をフォルダやアプリケーションなどの種類でソートしている場合、ソートの順番を複数から選択できるようになりました。

　また、Finder で選択しているファイルを FolderGlance のコンテクストメニューで任意のフォルダに移動／コピー／エイリアスを作成した場合、完了後にそのフォルダを開くオプションが加わりました。

　FolderGlance のその他の機能は PISCES でも過去にご紹介しましたが、このバージョンから機能をまとめた Tips タブが環境設定パネルに新たに設けられているのでそちらもご参照ください。

　余談ですけど、前バージョンの新機能、コンテクストメニュー内にファイルを表示せずにフォルダのみを表示するオプションは、あいかわらず Tom の環境では機能してくれんとです・・・。

• The display of files in the main context menu can now be toggled on or off.
• Two independent memory bugs have been fixed, which should improve stability when moving, copying or creating aliases of files.

　ファイルやフォルダをさがすのにとても便利な FolderGlance がアップデート。

　前バージョンの不具合の修正に加え、新たにコンテクストメニュー内にファイルを表示せず、フォルダのみを表示するオプションが加わっています。

　ただ、Tom の環境では機能してくれません。環境設定パネルでチェックを入れても、再度パネルを開くとチェックが外れています。Tom の環境だけの不具合だとよいのですが（よくはないけど）。
