- Fixed default showing of offline contacts, which was turned on in 1.1. As of 1.1.2, this is off by default, as it was in versions of Adium prior to 1.1. This can always be changed from the View menu.
- Fixed spring-loaded tabs to wait for a definitive hover before switching. The delay is the same as the Finder's delay for spring-loaded folders. As with Finder, space bar can be pressed to switch immediately.
- Fixed Gadu-Gadu on PPC machines
- Fixed reopening of chat windows after using encryption

バグ修正がメインのアップデートですが、Adium の環境設定の「詳細」タブにメンバーリストのアニメーションをオフにできるオプションも加わっています。
AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ など主要なサービスに対応していて、同時にログインも可能。Adium を使えば、複数の IMクライアントを立ち上げる必要がありません。
異なるサービスの友達と同時にチャットしても、タブで切り替え、ウインドウが散らかることもありません。
メッセージが届くと、Dock のアイコンが羽を広げてお知らせ。
Adium X で使われているアイコンや、メッセージスタイルも好みのものにカスタマイズでき、Growl の通知にも対応しています。
