不要になったソフトの関連ファイル／フォルダをさがし出して、いっしょにアンインストールできる TrashMe がアップデート。
アンインストールするソフトを TrashMe のウインドウかアイコンにドラッグ＆ドロップするだけで
アプリケーションの関連ファイルを見つけ出します。
ツールバー下の目玉のアイコンのボタンをクリックするか、スペースキーを押すと、選択したファイル／フォルダを Quick Look でき、右側の虫メガネのアイコンのボタンをクリックすると、Finder に表示します。
前バージョンまでは、「Delete」ボタンをクリックすると、チェックが入っているファイル／フォルダをすべて削除する仕様でしたが、ファイルをゴミ箱に移動するように変更されています。
環境設定の「General」パネルでこれまでのようにすぐに削除するように設定可能です。また、「Add TrashMe to the Finder contextual menu」のオプションにチェックを入れておくと、
Finder のコンテクストメニューに表示される「サービス」から、選択したアプリケーションの関連ファイル／フォルダを TrashMe で検索できるようになりました。
サイドバーの「PLACES」で「アプリケーション」フォルダにインストールしているアプリケーション、「ホーム/ライブラリ」にある Dashboard ウィジェット、環境設定パネル、インターネットプラグイン、QuickTime コンポーネントの関連ファイルの一覧を表示し、
チェックを入れて選択した項目（複数可）の関連ファイルをさがすことも可能です。
ツールバーのボタンでアイコン表示に切り替えて選択することもできます。
デフォルトでは無効になっていますが、「Advnced」パネルで「Smart mode」を有効にすると、
アプリケーションをゴミ箱に捨てた時に、自動的に TrashMe が起動して関連ファイル／フォルダをさがします。
大切なソフトを TrashMe で削除してしまわないように環境設定の「Protection」に登録して保護することもできます。
システム要件は Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard 以上となっています。
