Web サイトのアカウント情報の管理に便利な 1Password がアップデート。先日正式版がリリースすされた、Camino 2 がサポート Web ブラウザに追加されています。
また、txt, rtf, rtfd ファイルを 1Password のアイコンにドラッグ＆ドロップすると、
その内容から自動的に Secure Note を作成する機能が加わっています。
サポートされてる Web ブラウザでアカウント情報の入力が必要な Web サイトにログインするだけで、情報を 1Password に登録することも可能。
次回からは 1Password を起動しなくても、Web ブラウザのツールバーに表示される 1Password のボタンをワンクリックするだけでアカウント情報を入力してログインできるようになります。
対応しているほかの Web ブラウザでも登録した情報を使い回せるので、Web ブラウザを乗り換えた時にも便利です。複数のアカウントがある場合にも、選択してログインできます。
1Password 3 では、編集モードにしてアカウント情報にタグを付けたり、
関連ファイルをドラッグ＆ドロップで添付できるようになりました。
Web サイトのアカウント情報だけでなく、クレジットカードや住所、Email アドレスなどの情報も管理可能。シェアウェアや製品版のソフトのアイコンを 1Password 3 のアイコンにドラッグ＆ドロップするだけで、
ソフトのアイコンとソフト名が自動入力されるようになり、ソフトのライセンス管理にも便利です。
一定時間 1Password を使用しないでいると、設定したマスターパスワードを入力をしない限り開けないように自動的にロックできるので、大切な情報をしっかりガードしてくれます。
iPhone アプリケーションの 1Password touch と情報を同期することも可能です。
