多機能な Twitter クライアント iPhone アプリケーション、Twittelator Pro がアップデート。
これまでも「More」タブにある検索機能で「Nearby」を選択すると、iPhone の GPS を利用して周辺のユーザが投稿したつぶやきを検索することができましたが、
設定に追加された「Show Nearby in Map」をオンにしておくと、地図上につぶやきを表示できるようになりました。
デフォルトでは半径10km以内のユーザを検索するようになっていますが、画面上部のツールバーをタップして検索する範囲を変更することもできます。
英語ですが「Search Groups/Tweeters」を選択すると、興味のある分野のグループやユーザを表示してフォローできるようにもなっています。
また、「Find Themes」を選択すると、前バージョンから加わったテーマ作成機能を使って投稿されたテーマを新着順／人気順／ランダムに表示し、ダウンロードして自分のタイムラインで利用することができます。
テーマの作成方法は、前回の記事をご参照。
意外に自分のタイムラインでこの機能を知らない方が多かったので再度ご紹介。リプライのつぶやきには右側の投稿された時間に吹き出しのマークがつくので、これをタップすると会話の流れを「Conversation」に表示することができます。このバージョンでは表示のスピードもかなり早くなっているのでぜひお試しを。
つぶやきといっしょに投稿する動画と音声のアップロード先に Posterous と Pikchur も選択できるようになりました。また、開発元には「ReTweets: (feature coming to twitter in October 2009!)」とあるので現時点では利用できないようですが、ReTweets 機能も強化され、選択したつぶやきを自動的に ReTweets したり、
「ReTweets」画面で自分が ReTweets したものや、自分のつぶやきが ReTweets されているのをまとめて表示できるようになるみたいです。
多機能すぎてとても一度に紹介しきれないので、そのほかの機能については以前に書いた記事もご参照ください。
