ご紹介が遅くなってしまいましたが、アプリケーションからの通知をおしゃれに表示して、Mac を使うのをより楽しくしてくれる環境設定パネル、Growl がアップデート。前バージョンのバグ修正がメインのアップデートのようです。
PISCES でも紹介してきた多くのソフトが Growl の通知に対応しています。
アプリケーションごとに通知の表示スタイルや、表示位置を設定可能。アプリケーションの通知ごとに Growl の通知を無効にしたり、表示スタイル、スティッキー設定、優先度、サウンドをカスタマイズすることもできます。
「表示オプション」タブでは、表示スタイルの透過度や表示時間なども細かくカスタマイズでき、
「プレビュー」ボタンをクリックして、表示スタイルを確認することもできます。
Growl に対応しているアプリケーションをインストールしていない人でも、ディスクイメージ内の「Extras」フォルダにある GrowlSafari, GrowlMail, HardwareGrowler, GrowlTunes, growlnotify をインストールしてすぐに Growl を試すことができます。
