QuickTime Player で Windows Media Video（WMV）を再生できるようにするプラグイン（フリーウェア）

- Added playback support for AVI files, the ISO MPEG-4 V1.1 video decoder and several audio decoders including: Microsoft ADPCM, IMA ADPCM, G.711, G.726 and MPEG Layer 3.
- Exposed several advanced audio and video encoder controls and added the ability to save the encoder settings as a named profile.
- Added support for real-time streaming from both live and on-demand sources. For multiple bit-rate sources, stream selection is based on the QuickTime 'Streaming Speed' preference setting.
- Significant optimization for G4 and G5 systems allows real-time playback of HD media.
- Added a pop-up menu to the Internet plug-in that allows movies to be saved from within the browser.
QuickTime Player で Windows Media Video（WMV）を再生できるようにする、Flip4Mac WMV Player がアップデート。
なんとこのバージョンから WMV を再生するのみの Player はフリーウェアになりました（せっかく購入したのに・・・ orz）。一部再生できないものもありますが、Mac 版の Windows Media Player よりも滑らかに動画を再生します。
インターネットプラグインでインターネット上の WMV ファイルも再生。ウェブブラウザ上から Quicktime ムービーとして保存できるようにもなりました
ただし、Tom の環境（QuickTime Pro 7.0.4 + Mac OS X 10.4.4）では、QuickTime Player で開いた WMV のウインドウを閉じると、QuickTime Player が異常終了します。
同様の報告が VersionTracker にもありますので、試用する方はご注意を。
環境設定パネルから、WMV ファイルをインポートして編集可能にする上位版にアップグレードもできます。
