あの Microsoft が iPhone アプリケーションの世界にも参入。第一弾は、高解像度の画像をスムーズに拡大できる、Microsoft Live Labs のテクノロジー、Seadragon を利用したアプリケーションです。
Seadragon Mobile を起動すると、「Content」一覧が表示され、選択するとダブルタップやピンチで画像をスムーズに拡大できます。例えば、右下の画像で赤丸の部分を拡大すると、
誰もが見たことがあるであろうあの人の絵と思われるのですが、さらにどんどん拡大していくと、
実は、炭酸飲料水の缶で製作されたアートであることがわかります。
画像をタップするとツールバーが表示され、「Content」一覧に戻ったり、元の表示サイズに戻すことができます。
「Content」には地図や航空写真なども含まれており、本体を横方向に回転させるとランドスケープモードで表示できます、
